It is the mission of MDI Mortgage Group to meet the financial needs of our customers (“you” or “your”) while protecting your privacy. We recognize and are guided by the belief that protecting each person’s right to privacy is fundamental to the quality of customer relationships, and we will therefore protect the information you have chosen to share with us.
MDI Mortgage Group does not sell or disclose nonpublic personal information about our customers or former customers to outside marketers. However, we are permitted by law to share with our affiliates information concerning your customer account history and loan information. The information we share with our affiliates helps us provide you with greater convenience and the products and services you want. MDI Mortgage Group collects personally identifiable information about you for many reasons, including to help us identify you, evaluate your application, service and manage your account, and offer you useful financial products and services. • Information provided by you on account applications and other forms, including your name, address, telephone number, e-mail address, social security number, date of birth, and mother’s maiden name. In the process of credit and investment review, the MDI Mortgage Group collects other information such as income and employment.
• Information obtained through your account transactions and account experience with us or our affiliates including account balance, payment history, account usage and our communications with you.
• Information from credit bureaus and similar other companies, such as your account and payment history with other lenders.
MDI Mortgage Group may share information among our affiliates. This information might include:
• information you have given us as part of an application for one of our products or services, or
• information we have received from a consumer reporting agency or other third party.
You may request us not to share this type of information by calling us at (866) 999-2881. After allowing us a reasonable time to document your request we will not share this information.
MDI Mortgage Group restricts access to nonpublic personal information about you to those employees who need to know that information to provide products or services to you. We maintain physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards that comply with federal regulations in order to guard your nonpublic personal information.
MDI Mortgage Group does not reveal specific information about your accounts or other personally identifiable data to unaffiliated third parties for their independent use unless: 1) you request or authorize it, 2) the information is provided to help complete a transaction initiated by you, or 3) prior notification has been given to you regarding the possible disclosure of information for marketing or similar purposes and you have been given the opportunity to decline.
The privacy practices of linked web sites are not covered by MDI Mortgage Group’s Privacy Policy, and we are not responsible for the privacy practices, data collection, security or content of other web sites.
